The ODA Platform

The ODA Platform is a development environment specially designed for CAD and technical graphics applications.  DWGdirect and DGNdirect make up the two core product lines of the platform and both are implemented using portable C++, making them available on all major operating systems (Windows/Macintosh/UNIX).

DWGdirect 

DWGdirect is a development environment for creating custom CAD and technical graphics applications using C++.  It includes full support for the DWG and DXF file formats, a powerful object-oriented C++ API, and a rich feature set for editing, manipulating and rendering CAD data. DWGdirect includes support for DRX (DWGdirect Runtime eXtension) component technology, which can be used to build modular components that support custom objects and custom commands.

DGNdirect

Language Extensions For DWGdirect  

DWGdirectX

DWGdirectX is an ActiveX component component which makes a signficigant subset of DWGdirect available via an ActiveX interface. DWGdirectX can read and write DWG/DXF files, render drawings, edit entity-level properties, and much more, from VB or other COM-accessible languages.
