ACIS Integration - SpaModeler

Overview

SpaModeler is an optional module that integrates ACIS 3d Solid Modeling technology into a DWGdirect client application.

Note that SpaModeler requires a separate license from Spatial Corporation--see http://www.spatial.com/products/evaluation for more details.

Key Features

Integration of the optional SpaModeler module into a DWGdirect application enables a full set of solid modeling functions from within the DWGdirect API. These include:

• Creation functionality for sphere, box, frustum, torus, wedge, extrusion, pyramid, lofted solid, etc.  These are available via methods in the OdDb3dSolid class.
• Rendering support for ACIS entities (shaded and wireframe rendering).
• Support for boolean operations between 2 solids.
• Auxiliary functions for sections, slicing, interference checking, and more.
